Equality Objectives

Our Equality Objectives

The Governing Body of The Holy Family Catholic school is committed to equality for all in the appointment, development, training and promotion of staff, and in all dealings with students/pupils and parents of the school.  The aims of the policy are for the school to be an inclusive organisation, where diversity is valued, respected and built upon, with the ability to recruit and retain a diverse workforce that reflects the communities it serves.

It is recognised that there are similarities and differences between individuals and groups, but the school and Governing Body intend to strive to ensure that differences do not become barriers to participation, access and learning and to create inclusive processes and practices, where the varying needs of individuals and groups are identified and met.
