One Britain One Nation

21.06.19

OBON has a vision to unite the people of our country and is devoted to galvanising the efforts of all our people from all backgrounds to rejoice in their pride in Great Britain to build an even stronger Britain. A society built on compassion, tolerance and harmony based on mutual respect. OBON wants to bring us all together, not to focus on our differences but to celebrate the values we share in common to foster a deeper spirit of togetherness. OBON represents the positive change our people want to see and recognises that a country is at its best when the bonds between all our people are strong and when the national purpose is clear for the creation of a harmonised society.
Year 7 will be taking part in the ‘One Britain One Nation’ (OBON) day on Friday 28 June 2019. They will start the day with an OBON celebratory assembly and all lessons will be OBON themed. Students are encouraged to wear red, white and blue if they wish to do so as this will be a voluntary non-uniform day for Year 7 only.
